    International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

    In 1989, the United Nations General Assembly declared 26 June each year to be the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Member jurisdictions agree to hold large scale anti-drug campaign around the day to disseminate anti-drug message to show their determination to combat drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
