Phase II Project -Reservoirs Upgrading Works Near Shing House at Shek Kwu Chau Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre To carry out upgrading works for the reservoir near Shing House at Shek Kwun Chau to reinstate its existing capacity. Fresh water system on the Island is entirely independent of the Hong Kong main supplies. Since the sixties, the reservoir beds have been filled up with sand and debris and no upgrading works have been carried out. Water rationing has to be imposed during the dry months. |
