Save Your Child - Beat Drugs Ambassador District Participation Scheme

To heighten the awareness of parents, adolescents and professionals on drug abuse problem. Training workshops are organized for the Beat Drugs Ambassadors who then assist to implement a series of drug education activities including study group, Q&A competition, video shows etc. A hotline is set up to provide counselling services to the drug abusers and their families.

To educate the youth about the adverse effects of drug abuse and to arouse the awareness of local residents about drug problem by organizing a series of activities such as anti-drug workshops, roving exhibitions, slogan and Q & A competition etc.

Encounter of the Alternative Kind - Life Experience Camp at Long Ke

To fund an experience camp at Long Ke Treatment Centre. The camp aims to enhance the youths' understanding of drug rehabilitation and the adverse impact of drug abuse.

Primary Prevention among Adolescence : School Programme

To enhance the effectiveness of the anti-drug educational programmes provided by the Prison Preventers Organization which is a service unit of the Agency. Anti-drug pamphlets, posters, tiny educational gimmicks are produced for distribution during school talks, seminars and lectures etc.

To fund an anti-drug camp and a carnival . The carnival aims to promote anti-drug awareness among the general public. The camp serves to strengthen the drug abuse knowledge and cultivate a sense of respect for life among the junior secondary students.

To promote anti-drug messages and increase the knowledge of drug abuse problem among the blind and the general public through the setting up of counselling hotline, the production of anti-drug pamphlets, and the organization of talks, exhibitions and visits to the drug treatment centres etc.

To heighten the awareness of youths about the adverse effects of thinner sniffing through their direct participation I conducting a survey on thinner sniffing, the production of a booklet on the result of the survey and organizing school talks.

The Youth Energy Awakening Scheme

The project offers some ex-substance abusers with adventure basic training and peer counsellors training. These trained ex-abusers then help to recruit some at -risk youths to form a Young Adventurer Club and organise adventure training, positive peer influence group and family reconstruction training sessions for them.

Specialised Training Programme for rehabilitative Workers dealing with Drug Abusers

The project aims to provide specialised training to the welfare workers working in the drug-related field. It includes a short course working with Drug Abusers in residential Setting and a certificate course for counselling Drug Abusers.

The project aims to heighten the awareness of the public about the harmful effects of drugs. A series of activities are held including talks and exhibitions, training camps, anti-drug carnival and booklets.

To Sponsor the construction of a 3-storey rehabilitation and training centre at Sai kung. The centre mainly provides accommodation for office and reception areas, room for group sessions and counselling services.

Mobile Acute Drug Dependency Rehabilitation team for hospitalised drug Dependency Patients

To fund a pilot scheme on setting up a mobile outreaching team to provide comprehensive and structural assessment, treatment and counselling programmes to drug dependent patients. The aim is to integrate medical treatment and drug rehabilitation for hospitalised drug dependent patients. Services include drug detoxification and rehabilitation, psychosocial and family care.
