Tung Wah Group of Hospitals CROSS Centre Resource Kits on Providing Drug Preventive Program to Parents

To prepare and produce resource kits for parent education by parent education service units. The resource kit, comprising a booklet, a CD-ROM and other useful references, will help parent education service units equip parents with knowledge on drugs, measures to prevent drug abuse and skills to tackle children with drug abuse problem.

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups “No Drug with YOUR participation” Anti-drug Resource Kits for School Sector

To produce resource kits with contents tailor-made for the school management, discipline and guidance teachers/social workers, and class/subject teachers. The resource kits, comprising booklets and audio-visual references, intend to provide suitable reference and guidance, catering for specific needs of different groups of personnel in fostering their knowledge, skills and confidence in planning and implementing anti-drug programmes and handling drug incidents.

(b) Treatment and Rehabilitation
The Hong Kong Medical Association Professional Family Doctors Certificate Course in Drug Abuse

To deliver a certificate course in drug abuse for frontline family doctors. A training package which will include assessment tools for early identification of psychotropic substance abusers and a manual to facilitate doctors’ screening drug abusers will be produced. A website will also be set up for downloading the training package and the manual.
