Supporting Services

There are comprehensive downstream support programmes to handle and follow-up cases of any possible results of the testing, including counselling, treatment, rehabilitation and referrals.

If a student is troubled by drugs (including confirmed cases in drug testing), the project manager assigned by the designated non-governmental organisation (NGO) will, subject to the student’s needs, co-ordinate suitable and timely counselling, treatment and rehabilitation services for him, including to convene a multi-disciplinary case conference to formulate a support programme. With the consent from students or parents or guardians, the relevant Counselling Centre for Psychotropic Substance Abusers (CCPSA) will be invited to participate in the case conference.
