This project aims at raising the anti-drug awareness of participants from Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC), various construction sites and different ethnic minority communities. Project elements include anti-drug ambassador training workshops for ethnic minority individuals and family members of construction workers who suffered injuries, anti-drug seminars in HKIC and among various ethnic minority communities, anti-drug roving exhibitions with distribution of leaflets in various construction sites, HKIC, training centre and various ethnic minority communities and business development workshops with sharing of rehabilitated drug abusers for employers in construction field.

Flourishing Life II – Drug Prevention in Hostel and Community Service

This project aims at enhancing the awareness of drug harms among high-risk youths living in hostels and strengthening parent-child relationship to reduce the risk of drug abuse. Project elements include community-based anti-drug workshops for general youths and parents, hostel supportive group with resilience enhancement programme and animal-aided therapy treatments for high-risk youths, counselling services for high-risk youths, supportive services for family members of high-risk youths and parent volunteer groups as supportive network for high-risk youths and their parents.

“No Drug New Environment” Short Video Beat Drugs Film Competition

This project aims at providing anti-drug activities (including visiting Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres (DTRCs) and sharing by rehabilitated drug abusers) and movie production training to young film makers to mobilise them to produce films for broadcasting in cinemas and online platforms that can raise general public’s awareness about drug harms. Project elements include 1-min anti-drug micro-film competition, professional training in filmmaking with anti-drug education elements, final movies broadcasted in cinema and online platforms, online film sharing session cum awards presentation ceremony, visits to DTRCs with sharing by rehabilitated drug abusers and roving movie sharing sessions in schools.

Action for Drug Free - Integrated Anti-drugs Service Scheme for Sex Workers

This project aims at providing an integrated anti-drug service to enhance the knowledge of sex workers on the harm of drug use and cultivate an anti-drug attitude to lower their risk of drug abuse. Project elements include sharing workshops for frontline workers from medical, social service and education sectors, physical/in-person outreaching for sex workers, hotline and online outreaching for sex workers, provision of basic mental health assessment and individual counselling for sex workers, provision of anti-drug education groups for sex workers and anti-drug ambassador training for tertiary students.

Walk along to Wellbeing – Preventive and Educational Program of Chem Fun (MSM Channel)

This project aims at providing preventive and educational program against the practice of ChemFun to men who have sex with men (MSM), high-risk groups among MSM, male sex workers and their clients. Project elements include physical and online outreach, educational group on drugs and ChemSex, anti-drug ambassador training with practicum and on-the-spot crisis intervention and counselling/referral/follow up service.

This project aims at enhancing the anti-drug attitude and resilience of local and ethnic minority secondary students through various training activities. Project elements include fitness and long distance cycling training for students and alumni, swimming course, dance training and Chinese opera training for ethnic minority students, choir training and pet care training for students, endurance running competition for students, teachers, parents and general public in Lantau Island and musical show for general public.

Young Adult Community Health Advisor (YACHA)-led Project to Promote Anti-drug Awareness among South Asian Youths and their Family in Hong Kong

This project aims at implementing an anti-drug community projects led by South Asian Young Adult Community Health Advisor (YACHAs) who received structural training to disseminate anti-drug messages. Project elements include comprehensive training for South Asian young adults to become YACHAs and delivery of 40 anti-drug seminars by YACHAs to South Asian adolescents, young adults and their parents.

Resilience in Action: Youth Empowerment Against Drug

This project aims at raising the anti-drug awareness among youths in Hong Kong through educational workshop, artificial intelligence (AI) video creation competition and referral services. Project elements include AI training workshops and AI video creation competition for tertiary students and general public, game-based educational workshops for primary, secondary and tertiary students and referral services for drug-abusing youths.
