It comprises a series of recreational programmes, talks and visits etc. aiming at assisting students to better adapt themselves to the life of secondary school, helping new immigrants to get acquainted with the adverse effects of drugs, promoting among the at-risk youths a healthier life style and positive goals in life and to enhance their self confidence.

A Complete Beat Drugs Programme

To heighten the awareness of the at-risk youths and their parents about the harmful effects of drugs. In addition to a series of anti-drug activities, a counselling hotline will be set up and a survey on the effectiveness of various preventive education programmes will be conducted.

Anti-drug Film Production

To arouse the awareness of the marginal students about the harmful effects of drugs, to improve their inter-personal skills and co-operation spirit through their direct participation in the production of an anti-drug film.

Comprehensive Scheme for Preventing Young People from Abusing Drugs

To fund the implementation of a 2-year programme aiming at enhancing the refusal skill of the vulnerable youths to drug offers and bad peer influence, increasing the awareness of parents about the drug problem and preventive measures. Activities include small group discussion, adventure-based counselling camp , talks and exhibitions and anti-drug handbooks.

Drug Education Programme for Students, Parents and Teachers in Hong Kong’s International Schools

To fund the staff cost of a project manager for 2-years. The manager will develop and conduct a comprehensive drug education and information programme targeted at children, families and teachers of the international schools of Hong Kong.

To disseminate beat drugs messages by implementing a beat drugs project. It involves the forming of a volunteer group providing counselling service, the setting up of a hotline, and the launching of a series of prevention and community education programmes such as talks and exhibitions, parents sharing sessions, teachers' beat drug conference , carnival etc.

Family Energy Awakening Scheme

To organize a series of activities aiming at improving the youths' adversity quotient, strengthening their family ties and peer network to resist against drugs. The programmes includes the production of a VCD interactive educational package, the establishment of a family network and an adventurer and fitness clubs, peer counselling service, carnivals and other community education programmes.
