To equip school personnel with the latest knowledge in drug abuse, enrich and reinforce their skills in early identification of at-risk students, and enhance their skills in formulation of protocols and guidelines for handling suspected or actual drug abuse cases in schools, the Narcotics Division of Security Bureau and the Education Bureau have commissioned the Community Drug Advisory Council to provide training programmes with duration in 1.5 to 3 hours (eligible for teachers’ Professional Development Training hours) for teachers, school social workers, key school personnel and school management personnel of primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong in 2021/22 and 2022/23 school years.
