Clinical Profile of Lower Urinary Tract Changes and Urinary Marker Measurements in Young Adults using Ketamine

The study aims to determine the relative risk of dosage, frequency of ingestion and duration of ketamine use for changes in lower urinary tract function. The utility of urinary markers to correlate with the degree of bladder damages is also evaluated.
Beat Drugs Alliance

Training will be provided to rehabilitated drug abusers and they will be engaged as counsellors to run an anti-drug website which will provide drug and rehabilitation service information with experience sharing in discussion forum and through emails. The website will identify hidden drug abusers and intervention will be given by social workers and peer counsellors to enhance their motivation to quit drugs.
Drug Knowledge Project

This project aims at enhancing the knowledge of the drug workers, school personnel, as well as the general public on drug abuse and drug treatment and rehabilitation work in Hong Kong. Exhibitions, seminars, exchange tour and a conference which enhance various treatment and rehabilitation service providers to work together will be organised.

High risk female teenagers in Tin Shui Wai and North District will be identified from schools and by outreaching teams. Apart from follow-up case work, they will be arranged to participate in interest classes, multi-session experiential learning programme, and personal growth & peer support groups.

This project aims at enhancing drug service users' attachment to the community and mobilising support from the community. Job and social skill training, job placement for drug abusers, anti-drug ambassadors training, mentor matching, volunteer work and anti-drug campaign for students and members of the public will be organised in this project. Key factors in successful community mobilisation will also be investigated.

Co-operation among different disciplines will be engaged so as to provide social-medical counselling and activities for young drug abusers in Wong Tai Sin District. Through outreach body check service in schools and in the community, hidden drug abusers, youngsters with minor offence, specific female groups will be identified for receiving the service. Anti-drug talks, workshops and activities for primary school students, high risk families and general public will be provided by the grantee.
